The story behind Team Sport
It started as an inside joke.
You can always tell when someone’s never played a team sport. It’s how they move and the decisions they make.
Someone would let insecurity, jealousy or selfishness win, and we’d just look at each other and say:
Because when you’re locked in on the goal, there’s no time to look around and compare. Someone else’s success isn’t a threat. You’re too focused on becoming the best version of yourself.
The joke stuck. Then it became a standard. Now it’s a capsule.

The more we talked about it, the more we realized the joke was really about something we admire. Team Sport isn’t about who made varsity. It’s a way of moving through the world.
It’s leading with integrity. It’s knowing your team has your back and being the one who has theirs. It’s lifting up the people around you and celebrating their wins like your own. It’s putting in the reps when nobody’s watching, so you can be fiercely competitive and still make it look effortless. It’s making history and keeping it casual. It’s walking in with authority, like you’ve been there before, and still carrying the humility and gratitude to know you didn’t get there alone.
Because nobody wins by themselves. Every stage, every release, every tour takes a great team behind it.
